Having a clean home is not complete if your appliances are dirty. Below you will find a few more tips to help with cleaning home appliances and keeping them fresh and shiny.
These tips pair perfectly with our guide to decluttering your home in 10 minutes. Leave a comment below with some of your best do’s and don’ts for cleaning home home appliances.
Our Customers Love Us
clean underneath the appliance
Like with every other thing in the home that has a bottom (the couch, under the bed, etc.), underneath your home appliance should be cleaned.
The same way bits of food or toys fall under the bed or couch is the same way things fall under your fridge or bacon grease under your toaster oven, washing machine, or dispenser.
Do not focus on only the visible parts of your appliance. It does not matter if it cannot be seen by others, there is a certain satisfaction you gain from knowing all parts of your appliances are clean.

Don’t use bleach for every appliance
We love bleach as much as you do, probably even more due to its amazing disinfecting powers but it isn’t ideal for all appliances.
We understand that you want to kill off the thousand and one germs on the appliance but the power of bleach can damage your appliance. Bleach has a corrosive component that could destroy the top layer of your appliance making it rust.
We recommend that you look into other disinfecting cleaners that can work on your appliance without damaging it.

ask for help
This cannot be stated enough, if you feel out of your league and have absolutely no idea what you are doing, call for help.
There is no harm in asking someone to show you the way when it comes to cleaning your appliances and there is no shame in seeking professional help for this.
Plus the benefit outweighs the potential damage that might have been caused by not cleaning your supplies the right way.
